The vent under the floor
East Largo has a lot of manufactured-home communities, especially along Starkey Road and Ulmerton Road. In most of them the dryer vents straight down through the floor and is supposed to run under the home and out through the skirting. Over the years that under-floor duct sags, comes apart at a joint, or gets crushed. Then the dryer is blowing hot, wet lint into the space under your home instead of outside.
You won't see it from the laundry room. What you notice is that clothes take longer, the laundry area feels damp, or there's lint around the skirting. We go under, clean or replace the run, and make sure it ends outside the skirting where it belongs.
