The dryer's running two or three times to get through one load of towels. The laundry room is warmer than it should be. There's a faint burnt smell when it's going, or you go outside and the vent flap barely lifts while the dryer's running.
Nine times out of ten it's the same thing, and it's not the appliance. The exhaust line is packed with lint, and your dryer is working itself to death trying to push hot, wet air through a straw.
That's a bigger deal in Seminole than a lot of people realize. Plenty of homes here — and just about every one out toward Madeira Beach and the Redingtons — vent straight up through the roof. Lint has to climb to get out, so it collects at the roof cap where you'll never see it. Add our humidity and the salt air coming off the Gulf, and that lint goes from fluffy to damp and dense. Damp lint clogs faster and holds moisture against the duct, which is how you end up with musty smells and, in the worst cases, water stains on a ceiling.

How we actually work
We treat a dryer vent as what it is — an exhaust system that's supposed to move a specific amount of air. So we don't just brush out the first few feet and call it clean.
Look at the whole path first
Dryer, the line through the wall or ceiling, and the exit —whether that's a side wall or up on the roof.
Take an airflow reading
A healthy vent moves real air. A clogged one barely registers.
This tells us where you're starting and whether we've actually fixed it.
Tell you what we found
And roughly when you'll want it looked at again. If your run is short and you don't need us back for a couple of years, we'll say that too.
Clear the full line
Roof cap included, with rotary brushes and a vacuum sized for
the job — not a shop-vac and a prayer.
Check the airflow again at the exit
If it's not moving the way it should, we're not done, and we'll tell you why — sometimes it's a crushed duct or a bad transition hose, not just lint.
